Application For Financial Assistance
An application for financial assistance has been filed with the Ontario County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The IDA held a public hearing on January 26 at the Victor Town Hall. Currently the IDA Board is continuing to review the application and has not set a date for formal action.
In addition, the IDA has approached the three affected tax jurisdictions--the Town of Victor, Ontario County and the Victor School District--requesting their consent to the proposed full/fixed tax payment program and the use of assistance to induce signature retail tenants to the mall. At this point the tax jurisdictions are reviewing this request and the next scheduled public meeting is noted below.
